Summer Soulstice Voted Best Soul Festival 2018-19
Friday 19th July saw hundreds descend on McQueen in Shoreditch, London for The Soul Survivors Magazine Awards.

Categories included among others, Best Soul Artist, Best Soul Radio Show, Best Soul Weekender and Best Soul Festival with Summer Soulstice winning the category and Margate Soul Festival finishing as worthy runners-up. The other two nominees in contention were Love Supreme and 51st State. Richard Weekes and members of the crew were there to accept the award from the magazine editor and co-founder Fitzroy Facey.
We’d like to thank everyone who voted for us and to all the people who have and continue to make our event a much loved and cherished one on the soul calendar. As we head into our 14th year in 2020, we look forward to putting our best into another great fundraising day next year.
