Stretchy Brews Brings In The New

The last Saturday in January has now become a favourite in the Soulstice calendar & this year proved no different with our first gathering of 2017.

Once again the Black Horse played host to Brews & Soul, the more intimate Summer Soulstice spin-off nights that have grown in popularity since the first one took place back in Nov ’13. With over 250 people in attendance, the Soulstice regular music men Double J & Jester Groove were this time joined by Matt Charles & Mi-Soul Radio’s very own Stretch Taylor.

Stretch has been a regular at our more recent main events & this was his Brews & Soul debut, while Matt has been coming to many Soulstice doo’s as a punter & has a great depth in knowledge of black music. Both guys delivered top sets & a percentage of the funds raised from the night, go towards organising the big day in June. Once again we’d like to thank Ray & all his staff who for being the perfect hosts.

We will be back at The Black Horse once again for some “liquid treats & soulful beats” on Saturday 1st April – tickets on sale soon.
