SS10 Raises Another Big Total
So despite stormy weather & the occasional deluge, the sun still made an appearance & the show did go on…
For the 4,500 people plus who partied & had fun all day at OE’s once again, it was a different outpouring altogether… that of LOVE & GENEROSITY. Some 2 weeks after the event we’re now proud to announce that £40,000 has been raised from the day’s efforts. Despite rising costs to put on the event & the weather conditions on the day, the munificence of everyone involved continues to inspire everyone & once again the money will go to the good people of Cherry Lodge to help them continue to help those living with cancer. Your support for Soulstice helps make life a little easier for these people.
And as with previous years, we will be handing over a large cheque at the Big Payback at The Black Horse in High Barnet on the Bank Holiday weekend on Sunday 28th August. It will be a free event starting at 4pm with music supplied by Double-J‘s Jamie F, Jester Groove, James Anthony, Brian Mac, Mr Green & guest Mick Foster from Diverse FM. There will also be a BBQ & the pub will open till midnight. More info to follow on this shortly…
For now, we’d like to thank everyone once again for coming to support our day, which we do of course in memory of Andy Weekes. Plans are already afoot for our next main event in the coming year, as well as our more intimate Brews & Soul nights which start again at the end of October.
