S.E.L Confirmed for Summer Soulstice 2018

We are extremely proud to welcome super talented singer/songwriter S.E.L as the first Main Stage act to be confirmed at Summer Soulstice this year…

With a love for life & a passion for music, north London born S.E.L (Soulful Emma-Louise) has worked alongside Jazzie B & the movement that is Soul II Soul, as well as having a world class resumé of working with renowned international artists such as Alicia Keys, Omar, Debbie Harry, Caron Wheeler, Jocelyn Brown, Mica Paris, Carleen Anderson, The SOS Band… the list goes on.

Determined to bring UK soul music back to grass roots, she signed her first recording deal to Universal affiliate, Cubit Records releasing her debut single ‘Necessary’ to international acclaim. In 2016 she hooked up with the legend that is DJ Spen & has to date, put out 3 incredible releases on his Quantize Recordings label.

Her last 2 singles ‘Elevation’ & ‘Flowered Tears’ both remixed by Spen & Michele Chiavarini, smashed dancefloors across the UK & Europe, while her new single ‘You Gotta Be’, is a stunning cover of Des’ree‘s 1994 hit & currently getting lots of love on radio up & down the land.
