Loc’d In Consciousness
A friend to Summer Soulstice since her excellent live performance at the festival in 2018, S.E.L has since been busy writing and performing and at last releases her long awaited debut album, ‘Loc’d In Consciousness’…

Inspired by the soul greats and trail-blazing UK black music pioneers such as Soul II Soul and Sade, songbird Soulful Emma-Louise delivers her most expansive and heartfelt work to date with charge being lead by the exhilarating lead single ‘Melodic Harmony’, synthesising all kinds of musical strands into an emotive slice of firefly funk. Check out the official video too!
In a recent interview with Switchedonmusic.com she explained the reasoning behind the album. “Loc’d’… my hair is in locs and I consider myself to be conscious of life and connected to a higher power. I have put my heart and soul into this body of work. What to expect?…. mmmmmm authentic UK Soul”
Alongside her latest single and other new songs, the album also includes her previous well-known singles such as ‘Elevation’, ‘Flowered Tears’, the Bryan Chambers’ duet ‘Falling’ plus her exquisite covers of Des’ree’s ‘You Gotta Be’ and Dexter Wansel’s classic ‘Sweetest Pain’.
‘Loc’d In Loc’d In Consciousness‘ is now available to buy on CD and via iTunes, with full digital release to follow shortly.
