Jon Jules returns to Summer Soulstice this June, after his long awaited & much talked about DJ debut at the event last year!
During his long illustrious career (our words, not his) Jon has played pretty much everywhere over the years; Stringfellows, The Limelight, Club UK, Camden Palace, Ealing’s Broadway Boulevard, Liberty (Manchester), the legendary BCM in Majorca & Barcelona’s Music Factory. For those who know, Jon also worked & subsequently owned the revered & much missed Rayners Lane Record & Disco Centre in Pinner, north London. In the early ’90s, he even enjoyed pop star status enjoying some time in the spotlight as the bassist for UK group Undercover with 2 Top 5 hits in 1992 including their cover of Gerry Rafferty’s ‘Baker Street’.
These days you’ll still find Jon is keeping the dancefloors busy, playing at the likes of the long running Ruby Soul nights with Ash Selector & Ian Dee, as well as at events like Bolsoul, the Luxury Soul Weekender & Soul Family Affair (Hunstanton, Norfolk).You can even catch him on the DAB airwaves & t’internet tonight (Friday) presenting his ‘Quality Street’ show on Delite Radio where he may even be talking about us!
Go see Jon Jules in the Club Tent at Summer Soulstice 2018, but dont call it a comeback, he’s been here for years…
