S.E.L (Soulful Emma-Louise)

North London born S.E.L, quickly began to display a love for life and passion for music, learning to play violin and piano at the age of six, first performing in a professional show when she was just eleven…

Once grown up, she soon became a vocal cornerstone for the UK’s living legend, Jazzie B as part of the Soul II Soul movement and an unstoppable talent that is Soulful Emma Louise.

The multi-talented singer and songwriter has more recently branched out into co-hosting a regular monthly show with Deadly Smedley on Mi-Soul Radio and her ‘live’ credentials read like a ‘who’s who’ of world renowned international music with artists including Alicia Keys, Omar, Debbie Harry, Caron Wheeler, Jocelyn Brown and Sanchez.

Since her main stage performance at Summer Soulstice in 2018, S.E.L has been working on her debut album ‘Loc’d In Consciousness’, as well as enjoying the first glow of motherhood. Covering all shades and musical grooves she has emerged as one of the UK’s finest musical talent and has expanded her musical message on Talk Radio’s @BadassWomensHr.

The success of her singles such as ‘Elevation’ and ‘Flowered Tears’ saw them chart at #No 2 in the UK Soul Charts as well as achieving Track of the Week status on BBC6 Music and MiSoul. Her version of Des’ree’s ‘You Gotta Be’ also went to #No 1 in the Traxsource House chart, while her new single ‘Falling’ is out June 2020 and is a heart felt duet with Glitterbox favourite Bryan Chambers and produced by Italian producer & multi instrumentalist, Michele Chiavaroni.
