Grumpy Grooves Us Again!
We’ve another fine addition to our Connoisseurs line-up this year as one of our crowd favourites heads back to Barnet on June 23rd… Please step forward Grumpy Brown!
Grumpy worked alongside Andy Weekes back in the 1980s when they ran the See Bees T-shirt stands at concerts & clubs up & down the country. After a break from the scene, Grumpy got his groove back some 8 years ago & nowadays you can hear him on his long running radio show ‘Soulinn’ on Stomp as well as in person at some of the biggest soul/black music gigs in the UK & abroad. These include Margate Soul Festival, Music Without Labels, Soul Family Affair & the Ibiza Soul Week.
A regular on the DJ team at Summer Soulstice since 2014, we are honoured to have this man play for us at our own little soul fundraiser, Summer Soulstice 2018.
