Young Pulse

Young Pulse is the Parisian producer/DJ known for his talents as a remixer and by his authentic style of mixing disco, nu-disco and house…

His many reworks, re-edits and remixes are played by the esteemed likes of Dimitri From Paris, Danny Krivit, Greg Wilson, The Reflex and KON.

They are much appreciated by many widespread blogs like 22 Tracks, House Of Disco and playlisted on specialized radios like Nova in France. His musical sensitivity and the quality of his reworks place him among the big names of international dance remixers and nu-disco.

In 2010, after achieving fame as a hip hop producer (Institubes, Sony, Universal), Young Pulse met the US superstar pianist Marcus Johnson. This encounter encouraged him to deepen his knowledge of soul, funk and disco. Together they created the duo JURIS, a unique blend of influences of jazz, hip hop and electronic music, that they categorized Euro-jazz. In 2013, they presented their album “EIFFEL TOWER” at the Silver Spring Jazz Festival and their DJ/keyboard performance received a standing ovation from the 25,000 crowd. The album got into the top 10 of the US Billboard in urban jazz.

He is working with labels like Midnight Riot and G.A.M.M. Records, and his reworks regularly appear at the top of the disco/nu-disco charts, confirming the work’s effectiveness within the DJ community and fans of this style. In 2015, The Unity Agency, a prestigious British booking agency contacted him to include his roster, embodied by great names. From then on, he quickly took part in major events in the UK, alongside KON, Late Nite Tuff Guy and Dimitri From Paris.

Parallel to his discoid projects, Young Pulse particularly likes house music and draws inspiration from the grooves and sounds of the early 90’s. In February 2016, he released ‘The Preacher’, his first deep house EP under the name of Kevin Oz (Voyeur Music) and for this first shot, the track was remixed by none other than Paul Johnson himself, the pioneer of Chicago house.

We’re proud to know this guy and have him grace our little event any time. Viva la Young Pulse!
