Terry Maggot

Terry (or ‘Maggot’ to his mates) has an illustrious past working in UK music, with labels like Polydor, Avex and Acid Jazz. There’s also the small matter of him warming up for a certain Pete Tong for over a decade…

With a wry smile, Terry adds that he taught Pete “everything he knows” and we’re pretty certain he’s not actually joking, as he himself has played out all over Europe with the brilliant Magic Bus DJ Collective, and venues like Rome’s famed jazz club Akab.

He was also regular at the long running Southport Dance Weekenders during the 1990’s and not to mention a good few other clubs and events up and down the UK over the years.

Outside of music Terry loves his football and those that know Maggot will know that his biggest vice is his beloved West Ham United. His DJ’ing these days consists of spinning a few tunes on Stomp Radio fortnightly on Thursday nights (8pm-10pm UK time) and out and about at the likes of Margate Soul Festival and those Brighton Beach Parties.

You can keep up with all Terry’s forthcoming gigs via his Facebook page.
