Keith Menezes

Residing in Barnet & known locally as DJ Keith, he’s been a part of Soulstice as both punter & disc jockey since @ our very first event…

A long time soul music fan & for a short time, record shop retailer, then buyer & van salesman to all the best record shops for the main soul music importer High Supply, run by the famous Tony Monson.

Keith has in the past, played in the chillout rooms at the likes of Bagleys, Turnmills & Cafe de Paris, playing funk & soulful house. Now doing a quarterly event called The Cha Night playing 60s/70s soul, funk, ska & Philly @ the Arkley Club in north London, usually on the last Friday of the month. Keith is also also resident DJ for the local Willow Foundation annual event which is run by Martin Taylor & Pete Dennis.


With a vast musical knowledge, Keith says there’s been many tracks that have influenced him throughout his life & when we pressed him to give us just five of them, he came up with this solid gold selection…
