DJ Keith

Residing in our manor of Barnet, north London, Keith was part of the first Summer Soulstice line-up all the way back in 2007…

A life long soul music fan and for a short while, record shop retailer, he was also a buyer and van salesman to all the best record shops for the main soul music importer High Supply, run by the famous Tony Monson.

Keith has in the past, played in the chillout rooms at the likes of Bagleys, Turnmills and Café de Paris, playing funk and soulful house.

These days and he puts on a quarterly event called the Cha Revival Night playing 1960s/1970s soul, funk, ska and Philly at the Arkley Club on the outskirts of north London, with proceeds going to North London Hospice. Keith is also resident DJ for the local Willow Foundation annual event which is run by friends Martin Taylor and Pete Dennis.

With a vast musical knowledge, Keith says there’s been many tracks that have influenced him throughout his life and when we pressed him to give us just five of them, he came up with this solid gold selection…

THE SKYLINERS ‘Since I Don’t Have You’

JAMES BROWN ‘Ain’t it Funky Now’

REUBEN WILSON ‘Got To Get Your Own’
