Jon Jules

Jon Jules is a veteran when it comes to the turntables, having been a DJ since he started way back in 1982…

Besides a residency @ the London Hippodrome for over 10 years & one of the original super clubs, Club UK, Jon also regularly played @ top London venues such as Stringfellows, Camden Palace & the Limelight. He has also worked @ Liberty in Manchester, Club Art @ Southend & Broadway Boulevard (Ealing) where he was also resident for a number of years!

Jon has also performed at the legendary BCM in Majorca as a summer resident & Barcelona’s Music Factory. As well as one of the highlights of his career, touring with the then World Mixing Champion Chad Jackson in Australia plus he was also on the UK tour & was resident DJ with DMC (Mixing Championships).

As well as his many DJ exploits, Jon had previously worked for, & then later took over, the legendary Rayners Lane Record & Disco Centre in Pinner, north London. In the early ’90s, he enjoyed some time in the spotlight as the bassist for UK group Undercover, who had two Top 5 hits in 1992 & international success with their cover of Gerry Rafferty’s ‘Baker Street’. Undercover went on to release two albums & several subsequent singles before splitting up a few years later.

These days, Jon continues to be a  top class club DJ playing at the likes of the Luxury Soul Weekender (Blackpool), Soul Family Affair (Norfolk) & the long running Ruby Soul with Ash Selector & Ian Dee. Jon’s also an accomplished radio presenter with Delite Radio presenting his Quality Street show on Friday nights between 7pm-9pm (GMT).

Having previously come to Summer Soulstice as a happy punter, Jon made his long awaited DJ debut in 2017, ripping the roof off the Club Tent with his set in the process…

It’s always quality from Julesy!
