Fat Freddie M

The Sounds of Fatness is now a firm favourite at Summer Soulstice and it’s all down to one man from the south of London…

That is what has happened since award winning, former Kiss FM DJ, Fat Freddie M joined our throng in 2011 and alongside James Anthony, has been helping us ever since with all the main stage shenanigans, including our now legendary finalé’s.

Freddie brings with him a larger than life personality and is quite clearly a crowd favourite when he steps up onto the boards on those June afternoons, whether it’s raining or the sun is shining down.

He likes to think of himself as a presenter rather than a DJ and in his spare time is a massive basketball and (Arsenal) football fan. Freddie’s also a regular on many a fairway both in the UK and abroad as well!

He’s been a special guest at Brews & Soul in Barnet and featured in our Summer Soulstice Virtual event on 2021. He continues to share his own musical skills in clubland and over the airwaves with the likes of Stomp Radio. You can also catch him guesting at various London club nights and soul events across the UK from time to time.
