Brian has been around the soul scene since way back having discovered the ‘good groove’ early in 1974 as a punter…

He started DJ’ing some four years later, mostly alongside a friend, running a mobile disco and as a warm up DJ locally at Oscars in Greenford. He was also the resident at Soul House Tribe parties.

His day job and being a ‘non-driver’ have limited extensive DJ work for him, but the passion to search out and collect the great music we all enjoy has never diminished within Brian. Occasionally branded as a bit of an ‘anorak’ (which he tries to deny) he has an unquenched thirst for all new music as well as an appreciation of all that came before. Brian admits to spending most his time sourcing new music and managing his extensive collection.

With us since our inaugural Summer Soulstice, first as an event goer & then as a DJ, he’s spun in both the Connoisseurs and Club Tents due to his eclectic taste in black music. He’s also worked at events in Spain, Great Yarmouth and various regional all-dayers over time and is a good man to call upon if required.

Brian has been trying to find the necessary time to start broadcasting a regular radio show and may yet get into the habit of doing a few ‘one-off special’ podcasts.
