Bob Masters

Bob’s a big supporter of what we do, ever since he first came down on a very chilly June Saturday, back in 2010…

He has had a lifetime of music and been a mainstay of the DJ circuit over the years (Southport, Caister, Rio’s, Special Branch to name a few), was a one-time record dealer and has in the past worked successfully for labels such as Sleeping Bag Records, A&M and Sony Music.

He’s still DJ’ing, promoting and plugging new music at radio and TV, and he’s also a husband, father and the family chauffeur (his words, not ours.) Bob always seems to be double busy!

He continues to work hard in the industry he loves and is now one of the most prolific events organisers on the scene, putting on several a year. In the past these have included the sell-out Ibiza Soul Week, the Bournemouth Soul Weekend, as well as the highly successful Revenge Of The Soulboy and Summer Madness all-dayers and the South Coast Soul Jam Weekend in Poole.

Bob has more events planned for the future but importantly for us, his expertise and continued support of Summer Soulstice has been one of the many reasons for the event’s growth in popularity. Along with his better half Sally and her incredible deftness at the OE’s gates on the big day, these ‘Masters at work’ are thoroughly loved by everyone here at Soulstice HQ.
