Bigger‘s amazing, award winning DJ career started at the age of 16 & it’s progressed to where he’s seen today as one of the UK & Europe’s biggest R&B/soul DJs. We look forward to welcoming one of the busiest guys in showbiz, back to the field of dreams…

With his Mi-Soul radio show which broadcasts to London, Manchester & Brighton on DAB & worldwide via the internet, along with his journalistic duties, his media portals & DJ events, Bigger’s outreach is somewhere around the 7 million people-per-month mark… And that’s just in the UK!

His career highlights include DJ’ing for the likes of Mariah Carey, Usher, Beyonce, Beverley Knight, Destiny’s Child, Ne-yo & many more at their own music industry parties & also supporting others like Chaka Khan, Blackstreet, Next, Beverley Knight, Soul II Soul, Craig David, Puff Daddy & the late, great Notorious BIG, warming up their UK live shows. Bigger plays & has played at just about the biggest soul/r&b/dance nights & events there are: Southport Weekender, Suncebeat, GO Ibiza, Luxury Soul, 51st State, Smoove Grooves, Bump N Hustle, The Lacy Lady & of course our very own Summer Soulstice where he has been an integral part of the DJ line-up since 2010.

He continues to help break new artists & their music & is still one of the industry’s ‘Go To’ people for exclusive tracks on radio & in the clubs. He himself has enjoyed one the longest running & most successful r&b tours (now in its 25th year & one of the only DJ tours to be sponsored by music industry giants Sony Music) taking in the UK & Europe & more recently a soul tour that has been every bit as successful.

Bigger’s own “Urban Essentials” brand is also behind one of the UK’s biggest selling r&b compilations in UK chart history & he continues to write his column for the long standing Blues & Soul magazine & for Contact Music, one of the world’s biggest online music magazines. Bigger feels truly blessed to have interviewed some of the biggest names in r&b, soul & hip hop over the past 20 or so years, including most of the aforementioned artists & many others, among them Mary J Blige, Kanye West, RihannaR Kelly, John LegendLuther Vandross; the list goes on.

After recovering from major surgery in 2017, he’s back & definitely showing a new vigour for life as well as cutting a slightly less ‘bigger’ figure these days… We’re excited to see him rock the afternoon crowds on the Summer Soulstice 2018 Main Stage!
