Summer Soulstice

All Hail The Ginger One!
After a big career change in 2017 & his decision to take early ‘DJ retirement’, we’re thrilled that Ginger Tony is returning for a long awaited ‘one-off’ appearance behind the decks at Summer Soulstice 2018!
Having served his apprenticeship DJ’ing at bars & clubs in south London & discovering something called a ‘soul weekender’, he later secured residencies at the likes of The Lacy Lady, The Surgery & East Village, as well playing the likes of Bournemouth Soul Weekender & Ibiza Soul Week. Both his ‘Look Out Weekend’ & ‘Jump Start’ shows on Solar Radio were massively popular on the station & Tony also regularly contributed to The Soul Survivors Magazine.
Commenting on his return to the event, which he last played at in 2016, Tony said, “I’m not just saying this, but it is an honour to be back at this year’s Summer Soulstice. To be in that field with all those wonderful people, all the great music & all for a very worthy cause is one if the highlights of the year!”
Having recently become one of London’s many hard working black cabbies, Tony has music in his soul & still finds it hard not to get excited about meeting one his favourite artists. This was the case recently when he picked up the one & only Monday Michiru in the UK capital. & even let her have a go at being a London Cabbie, on the condition that he gets to sing in New York later this year!
Let’s just get Soulstice out the way first, eh Tony! Catch the man & his bare feet, in the Club Tent this June!
