Terms & Conditions

Summer Soulstice is for families and nice people in general, it’s not all about raising money but having a good time too. We aim to make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible and have T&C’s covering everything from the festival to our lovely website…

The Festival

Enjoyment is paramount but please don’t get stupid, as anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated either and you will be ejected without refund.

Warning: exposure to loud and excessive music may be damaging to your hearing. Strobe lighting and flash photography may also be used at the festival.

Parents are reminded there are areas of the site, especially immediately in front of the main stage and our other music arenas, which are inappropriate for some people, including young children.

Smoking is not permitted in enclosed public spaces or buildings which include the Club Tent and Connoisseurs arenas.  This also includes e-cigarettes/vaping.

Old Elizabethans Memorial Playing Fields is a green field site and we aim to keep it that way, so please help our cleaning team by keeping the festival tidy. Please recycle as much waste as you can. If you cannot take your rubbish home with you then, please make sure all litter is thrown away in the bins and bin bags which are be provided on the day.

Dogs, apart from guide dogs, will NOT be allowed into the festival site.

Street entrance gates at the venue will be open to the public with valid Festival Only etickets at 9.30am (for car parking and 1 Night campers). The event arena entrance gates will open at 11am with all areas of the event opened by 12pm. If you wish to leave the event’s main arena to access the car park you or you live locally and want to return later in the day, you will need one of our pass-outs. These will only be available between 11am-9pm on the day of the event. If you leave the event thereafter, you will not be allowed back in.

There will be no entry into the main festival area after 9pm on the day of the festival – this includes re-admissions.

Should the festival be unable to perform any obligations during the festival due to causes or circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to any Act of God, force majeure, fire, flood, drought, strike, lock out or actions of Old Elizabethans (the venue), we will not be liable to you for any losses or claims arising from this.

The festival ends at 11pm on the Saturday.

Any lost property found during the event is taken to Lost & Found at the Soulstice HQ office – open 12pm-10pm on the day of the festival itself. After the festival, property will be stored in a safe area on-site, for people to collect directly within 3 days of the festival finishing. You can email us to make an enquiry titled Lost Property Enquiry.

Both Summer Soulstice Ltd. (the organisers) & our festival security have the Right of Admission Reserved (R.O.A.R.)

When leaving the festival, please be mindful that we are close to a residential area and we politely ask that you leave the area quietly and responsibly. Please be vigilant if you leave the festival on foot as Mays Lane is not well lit close to the festival site and there is no footpath in places. Although road restrictions are in place, some vehicles may use the road at the same time.

You will be emailed your eTicket(s) by our agents (eTickets.to) when you purchase your Summer Soulstice eticket online. Please print off the barcode(s) and bring to the festival to be scanned on entry. All tickets are issued to named holders. Changes may be made up to 72 hours prior to the festival for a fee of £5 per ticket order.

Once scanned, you’ll be given the relevant wristband by our entry gate staff that will allow you into the main festival area. We feel up to 4 x under 18’s per adult is a reasonable ratio, any more than this number and you will be refused entry. If you are 25 or under, then you will be asked by our nice security people for ID at the entrance gates, so please bring valid, up-to-date photo ID with you. Anyone under the age of 18 attempting to get in without their parents(s)/legal guardian(s) will be refused entry.

All children remain the responsibility of their accompanying parent(s) and/or legal guardian(s) at all times for the duration of the event.
