Enjoyment is paramount but please don’t get stupid, as anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated either and you will be ejected without refund.
Warning: exposure to loud and excessive music may be damaging to your hearing. Strobe lighting and flash photography may also be used at the festival.
Parents are reminded there are areas of the site, especially immediately in front of the main stage and our other music arenas, which are inappropriate for some people, including young children.
Smoking is not permitted in enclosed public spaces or buildings which include the Club Tent and Connoisseurs arenas. This also includes e-cigarettes/vaping.
Old Elizabethans Memorial Playing Fields is a green field site and we aim to keep it that way, so please help our cleaning team by keeping the festival tidy. Please recycle as much waste as you can. If you cannot take your rubbish home with you then, please make sure all litter is thrown away in the bins and bin bags which are be provided on the day.
Dogs, apart from guide dogs, will NOT be allowed into the festival site.
Street entrance gates at the venue will be open to the public with valid Festival Only etickets at 9.30am (for car parking and 1 Night campers). The event arena entrance gates will open at 11am with all areas of the event opened by 12pm. If you wish to leave the event’s main arena to access the car park you or you live locally and want to return later in the day, you will need one of our pass-outs. These will only be available between 11am-9pm on the day of the event. If you leave the event thereafter, you will not be allowed back in.
There will be no entry into the main festival area after 9pm on the day of the festival – this includes re-admissions.
Should the festival be unable to perform any obligations during the festival due to causes or circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to any Act of God, force majeure, fire, flood, drought, strike, lock out or actions of Old Elizabethans (the venue), we will not be liable to you for any losses or claims arising from this.
The festival ends at 11pm on the Saturday.
Any lost property found during the event is taken to Lost & Found at the Soulstice HQ office – open 12pm-10pm on the day of the festival itself. After the festival, property will be stored in a safe area on-site, for people to collect directly within 3 days of the festival finishing. Both Summer Soulstice Ltd. (the organisers) & our festival security have the Right of Admission Reserved (R.O.A.R.)
When leaving the festival, please be mindful that we are close to a residential area and we politely ask that you leave the area quietly and responsibly. Please be vigilant if you leave the festival on foot as Mays Lane is not well lit close to the festival site and there is no footpath in places. Although road restrictions are in place, some vehicles may use the road at the same time.
You will be emailed your eTicket(s) by our agents (eTickets.to) when you purchase your Summer Soulstice eticket online. Please print off the barcode(s) and bring to the festival to be scanned on entry. All tickets are issued to named holders. Changes may be made up to 72 hours prior to the festival for a fee of £5 per ticket order.
Once scanned, you’ll be given the relevant wristband by our entry gate staff that will allow you into the main festival area. Those who have purchased Camping etickets will have be scanned at the entrance of Camp Soulstice and be given a relevant wristband that allows access to both the main festival area and festival camp site.
U13 and Teen eticket holders will be given a relevant wristband on entry, however babes-in-arms or children up to the age of 1 year old do not have an eticket purchase/or be given a wristband. Under 13’s and Teens (14-17 years) will only be admitted into the event if accompanied by their parents(s)/legal guardian(s). We recommend that you write a contact name & mobile number on younger children in the unlikely event that your child wanders off during the day.
Anyone under the age of 18 will only admitted into the festival if accompanied by their parents(s)/legal guardian(s). We feel up to 4 x under 18’s per adult is a reasonable ratio, any more than this number and you will be refused entry. If you are 25 or under, then you will be asked by our nice security people for ID at the entrance gates, so please bring valid, up-to-date photo ID with you. Anyone under the age of 18 attempting to get in without their parents(s)/legal guardian(s) will be refused entry.
All children remain the responsibility of their accompanying parent(s) and/or legal guardian(s) at all times for the duration of the event.
You will not be entitled to a refund if you can no longer attend the festival for any reason, if the festival is rescheduled for another date or if an understudy is used in place of the festival’s headline act or a headlining act changes from the one(s) advertised on the line-up.
You may only be entitled to a refund if the festival is cancelled (but not rescheduled) or has changed location. The refund will be at least the face value of the ticket but does not include the booking fees and there will be an additional admin fee charge* of 3% of the ticket order.
The camping area (Camp Soulstice) at the venue is within a designated area of the festival and is only for those who’ve purchased a valid Camp Soulstice Add-On eticket – these are for 1 Night’s stay or 2 Nights & priced per person, not per pitch.
If you have purchased Summer Soulstice Festival Only and Camping Add-On eTicket(s), then please print off & bring to Camp Soulstice gate to gain access.
Those camping will be individually issued with ‘Event/Camping’ wristband(s) on entry into Camp Soulstice & which will also allow you access to the main festival arena from 11am on the Saturday & for the duration of the festival. Campers setting up on Friday will be allowed entry into the event site between 4pm & 9pm on the Friday (day before event) to pitch up. You will be directed by our security & you will need to bring both your Camping Add-On eticket and Festival Only eticket print-offs. Please follow the signs/instructions on your day of arrival. No persons under the age of 18 can stay in Camp Soulstice unless accompanied by their parent(s) or legal guardian(s). Summer Soulstice and Old Elizabethans shall not be responsible for any loss, theft or damage of items left in your tent. The main gates of the festival site are locked from 1am to 7am on the Saturday and Sunday mornings and there is no vehicle access during those hours, except in the case of an emergency service having to access the site.
All tents must be taken down and removed from the camping area by 12pm (noon) on the Sunday (the day after the festival).
Camper vans (and motorhomes up to 6 metres in length) are permitted into the festival and Camp Add-On ticket prices apply. Your Camper van must be specially adapted for people to stay in (this doesn’t mean transit vans with a mattress laid in the back or larger vehicles with the seats folded down). Camper vans/motorhomes must remain in their designated area at ALL times. This will be adjacent to Camp Soulstice where you will be able to access toilets. This is also at the risk of the owner & neither the festival organisers, nor Old Elizabethans shall be responsible for any loss, theft or damage of vehicle or items within that vehicle.
Camper vans (and motorhomes) must be removed from the car parking area by 12pm (noon) on the Sunday (the day after the festival).
NO Caravans, trailer tents and anything else that needs to be towed in or out by a car or van, can be permitted into Camp Soulstice.
NO glass or glass bottles of any kind will allowed to be bought into the festival or camping area.
NO Large Sound systems can be bought into Camp Soulstice. Small portable speakers (such as a Beats Pill) are allowed to be brought in, but please be considerate to your neighbours and we ask you to turn your music off by midnight.
Food is allowed into Camp Soulstice buy please now sharp knives or metal/ceramic cutlery. There will be an area for litter but please be mindful of how you dispose of it, black plastic sacks will be available. Summer Soulstice aims to encourage recycling where possible.

No alcohol can be bought into the festival’s main arena. Alcohol is available to buy at the event at our fully licensed bars.
Those who have a valid event & camping eticket can bring in the following amount of alcohol to the camping area on their first entry only and all vehicles will be subject to a security search at this point. The maximum you may bring in per person is 12 cans/plastic bottles of lager/beer/cider and 1.5 litres of wine (in plastic bottle or carton). You will be asked to leave excess quantities outside the event and you will NOT be allowed to re-enter Camp Soulstice with your own alcohol once you’ve entered the site via the entrance gates.
Picnics are allowed into the venue but NO metal cutlery or sharp knives please. NO BBQ’s, stoves or cooking fires are allowed in the main festival area.
Only soft drinks/water in sealed/unopened bottles & tins are allowed into the festival’s main arena and you will not be able to bring in glass bottles of any kind. Broken glass is very dangerous, not only for people who are attending, but for those who use the playing fields after the festival. If you have driven to the festival, please leave all glass/bottles in your vehicle. Opened and unsealed soft drinks must be disposed of before entering the festival and placed in one of our available litter bins outside the main arena.
All persons entering the festival will be searched by our security. There will also be an amnesty bin available at the front of the entrance gates.
If you are found to be in possession of illegal substances while trying to enter the festival, the police will be called and you may be arrested.
We will be running a Challenge 25 policy on the day. If you are lucky enough to look under 25 years of age, you will be asked for ID at the bars, so please bring valid photo ID with you.
The use or supply of Nitrous Oxide as a stimulant is not legal as it can only be supplied in this form by a registered pharmacist. Traders or users are committing an offence under Section 52 of the Medicines Act 1968 of selling and/or supplying a pharmacy medicine not under the control of a pharmacist.
Flares, fireworks, chinese lanterns are NOT allowed.
3m x 3m pop up Gazebo’s are allowed into the festival if you have bought a valid Summer Soulstice eTicket but can only be set up outside the main event arena in our designated Gazebo Zone and is subject to availability of space. There is presently no charge to bring in your gazebo but spaces are limited on the day and any gazebo’s bigger than 3m x 3m will not allowed into the event unless prior written permission has been given by Summer Soulstice.
The venue is a sports ground and we will be cordoning off cricket squares on-site and these are strictly out of bounds to the public at all times while the site is being used for the festival.
We have a limited car parking area which opens to the public from 9.30am on the day of the festival. It is advance booking only – click for info – please show your car parking booking print-out to our staff and you will be given one non-transferable parking pass to hang inside inside of your vehicle’s windscreen on entry to the parking area.
We encourage people to consider car sharing to help ease congestion. All vehicles must park within the designated parking area at the festival and are done so at the risk of the owners.
Vehicles left on site overnight are also at the owner’s risk and must be removed from the parking area by 12pm (noon) the day after the festival. Any vehicles left on the site after these times may be removed, as the site is locked securely thereafter.
Temporary Waiting Restrictions will be in place over the weekend of the event along Mays Lane between junctions with Shelford Road and Barnet Gate Lane. Please do not park or leave your vehicle along this stretch of the road to & from the festival site, as this is likely to cause an obstruction to traffic flow and the police will be called to remove your vehicle.
All festival attendees give their express consent to the use of the actual or simulated likeness in connection with the production, exhibition, advertising and/or utilisation of any photo, film, media and/or video recording of this festival and/or any element thereof in any/all media thoughout the world.
The use of photographic and/or recording equipment at the event without authorisation from Summer Soulstice™ Ltd., is prohibited.
Summer Soulstice is a registered trademark; the Summer Soulstice logo and any related Summer Soulstice artwork cannot be used without written permission of Summer Soulstice™ Ltd. Prior written permission is needed by Summer Soulstice™ Ltd. to use Summer Soulstice event tickets in any sales promotions, media, marketing, reward programmes, staff incentives, raffles, auctions or competitions in general.
Summer Soulstice reserves the right to change the line-up without notification.
You must not bring the following items into the festival site: portable laser equipment/pens, film or video equipment, audio recorder, air horn, spray cans, fireworks and/or flares. Our policy is: (a) to report to the authorities the possession of any item, the possession or use of which constitutes or may constitute an illegal act and (b) require any person possessing any of the same to leave the event site. If the event organiser’s require you to leave the event site, you must do so immediately.
