Q: I want to bring my children who are aged 12 years old & under – do they need an eTicket?
A: Children from the ages of 1-12 will need an Under 13 eTicket & can be ordered at the same time as when you buy your own eTickets for the event. If you plan to bring a child younger than this or a babe-in-arms, you will not need to buy an eTicket.

Q: I want to bring my children who are aged between 13 and 17?
A: Children of this age will need a full priced eTicket. Our terms state that any eTicket holder under the age of 18, can only enter the event with a parent, legal guardian or nominated guardian of a certain age. If you’re lucky enough to look under 18 then you’ll be asked by our nice security people for ID @ the entrance gates, so please bring up-to-date photo ID with you.

Q: Do I need to print off my eTicket?
A: Yes you do. The unique barcodes on these will be scanned for you & your party to gain entry into our main Event area & also our Camping area respectively. Alternatively, barcodes can be scanned direct from your smart phone but can at times, be less responsive to our barcode scanners.

Q: Is a Camping Add-On eticket price, per person or per pitch?
A: These are priced per person & not per pitch.

Q: Where’s my eTicket?
A: Your eTicket(s) will have been emailed to you once your payment has cleared through PayPal. Please check your spam folder if you cannot find them before you contact us – for further help you can email us or our ticket agents. Please make sure you input the correct email address for your etickets to be sent to, this is the most common reason for them not being received by the purchaser.

Q: Can I change the name on my eticket(s)?
A: All tickets are issued to named holders, as long as you are the purchaser of the original eticket order you will be able to do this by emailing us with your name, email & mobile details on the etickets & the name(s) you want removing & adding. Changes may be made up to 48 hours prior to the event for a fee of £5 per ticket.


Q: When is Summer Soulstice 2019?
A: This takes place on Saturday 22nd June. Event opening times: 11am-11pm @ Old Elizabethans, Mays Lane, Barnet. Tickets will go on sale in September 2018.

Q: Can I bring food & drink into Summer Soulstice?
A: Picnics which include soft drinks only are allowed. No alcohol can be bought into the main arena as there are licensed bars at the event. No BBQ’s, stoves or cooking fires are allowed in the main event area & please do not bring in glass bottles or containers or hard plastic containers of any kind. Please dispose of all your rubbish in the bins available or if possible, please take any of your rubbish with you on departure. This helps us with the big clean up on the day after.

Q: Can I bring a gazebo into Summer Soulstice?
A: Yes you can. There is an area for your gazebo to be put up & there is no charge, but spaces are limited & you cannot book your gazebo pitch in advance, so we advise early arrival to the event. At the entry gates you will need to give a member of our crew your name & mobile number & then you will be directed by one of our crew to where you can set up on the day.  Only 3m x 3m pop-up gazebo’s are allowed into the event & you have to have bought a valid Event Only eTicket. Gazebos can only be set up within our designated Gazebo Zone & is subject to availability of space on the day. Gazebo’s bigger than 3m x 3m are not allowed into the event. Please be mindful of other event goers while setting up/taking down & allow a 1 metre gap between you & other gazebo users. Please remember to take your gazebo away with you at the end of the event & note that we cannot accept any responsibility for damage to your gazebo during the course of event itself.

Q: What if I lose a personal possession during the event?
A: Any lost property found during the event is taken to Lost & Found at Soulstice HQ – open 11am-11pm. After the event, any lost property we have, will be stored in the OE’s safe area for people to collect directly the following day between 9am-2pm. You will also email us thereafter with a message entitled Lost Property Enquiry.

Q: Can I bring my dog?
A: No pets or animals are allowed on site with the exception of registered guide dogs.

Q: When can I get a timetable/line-up/programme?
A: Our Summer Soulstice programmes will be made available online as a PDF download in the week before the event, as well as on our social network pages. A free, limited edition physical copy will also be available on the day at the event.

Q: Is there a mobile app for Summer Soulstice?
A: No app for Summer Soulstice is currently available.


Bus StopQ: How do I get to Summer Soulstice?
A: Please go our How To Find Us page to see the best way to get to the event this year. You can also find your best route to Summer Soulstice by using an online journey planner or your SatNav by entering the postcode EN5 2AG.

Q: When can I arrive / when do I have to leave?
A: Our main gates into the arena open at 11am on the day of the event. For those who have purchased valid Summer Soulstice Event/Camping eTickets, may arrive at 9.30am on the day of the event & you will be directed toward the Camp Soulstice from at the site’s car entrance. The gates to the main event arena open at 11am for all eTicket holders. The event ends at 11pm & the main event area needs to be cleared as quickly as possible & people staying in Camp Soulstice should make their way to their tents at this point. All campers must leave the Summer Soulstice site by 12pm (noon) on the Sunday following the event.

Q: Is there car parking?
A: Yes. There is limited car parking on the event site on first come, first serve basis. Each vehicle is charged £10 for parking (for 4 persons or more in a vehicle, the charge will be £5), payable on entry to the event on the day which will be staffed by our security & members of Cherry Lodge Cancer Care. There is also free car parking for disabled people owning a valid blue badge – see our Disability page for further info. The entrance to the car park will open at 9.30am. Anyone paying to stay in Camp Soulstice will only be subject to a £5 charge per vehicle. Event goers staying in Camper vans/motor homes in the area adjoining Camp Soulstice will be able to park their vehicle for free.

Q: Can I leave my car in the car parking area overnight?
A: Cars maybe left overnight but at your own risk. Although we have security on site in the small hours Summer Soulstice & Old Elizabethans cannot accept responsibility for any theft or damage to your vehicle. All vehicles must be cleared of the site by 12pm (noon) on the Sunday following the event.

Q: Is the Soul Bus running & at what times.
A: The free Soul Bus service is now a firm favourite with event goers & the local community. They start running from 11am on the day of the event & run up until 12.30am on the Sunday. Please see our Soul Bus page for times & alighting points. You will need to show the driver your eTicket print out or valid wristband to use the Soul Bus during the day.

Q: Can I leave the event site and then come back in?
A: Yes, as long as you have a valid wristband on, you will be given a Pass-0ut card at our arena gates which allows you to leave & re-enter the festival site. The Pass-out card must be handed back to our gate staff on re-entry to the event. Please note there is no re-entry into the main event arena after 9.00pm.


Q: Are Camper Vans allowed?
A: Yes. Anyone coming to the event in a Camper Van (or motorhome) will be permitted into an adjoining area to Camp Soulstice where you will have access to amenities & to & from the event itself.

Q: Are caravans allowed?
A: Due to limited space at the site, no caravans or trailer tents are allowed are allowed at Summer Soulstice.

Q: Can I bring my own alcohol?
A: No alcohol is allowed to be bought into the main event arena at any time & there are fully licensed bars available for you. You’ll be asked to leave any excess alcohol outside the event. A reasonable amount of alcohol per person is allowed into Camp Soulstice on first entry only – see our Terms – for your own personal consumption. Please remember that glass is not allowed anywhere in Camp Soulstice so please make sure to decant anything you are planning to bring to Camp Soulstice, into plastic containers before you arrive.

Q: Are there showers/water points/toilets?
A: There are no showers available in Camp Soulstice, however there will be a water point & toilet facilities.

Q: Are there electrical points provided?
A: There are no electrical points available in Camp Soulstice or accessible to campers on the rest of the event site.

Q: Can I bring food into Camp Soulstice?
A: Yes you can bring in food for your stay at Camp Soulstice – please see our Terms for more info

Q: Can I bring a disposable BBQ or a small stove to cook food?
A: You can bring these into Camp Soulstice only but not into the main event arena or main car parking area. No cooking fires are allowed anywhere on the event site.
Campers: please be mindful of others sharing the area with you when cooking & do not use stove or disposable BBQs inside your tent: carbon monoxide kills. Do not leave your disposable BBQ or stove unattended while you’re cooking.

Q: Are Chinese lanterns, flares, fireworks or campfires allowed?
A: No, none of these are permitted at Summer Soulstice. Please do not use or bring Chinese Lanterns to light up & set off into the sky, the devastation that can be caused by these things if they go in the wrong direction is something we all want to avoid, especially in a camp site environment.


Q: Do you operate a Challenge 25 policy?
A: Yes, we will be operating a Challenge 25 policy at Summer Soulstice once again. If you can’t provide valid identification when asked by bar staff, you will be asked to leave the event site & come back with your ID. So if you are lucky enough to look 25 or younger, please make sure that you bring an acceptable form of identification. Valid forms of ID include:

  • An in date photographic driver’s license or provisional licence.
  • A valid passport (not a photocopy). Out of date passports will NOT be accepted.
  • A Proof of Age Standards Scheme Card (showing the PASS hologram).

Q: Is there phone charging available?
A: There is currently no phone charging facility available on the site.

Q: Is there an ATM/Cash Machine available?
A: There is currently no ATM or Cash Machine facility available on the site.

Q: Is there free Wi-Fi available?
A: There is currently no free Wi-Fi available at the event although there is a good mobile network coverage at the site for both 3G & 4G.

Q: I’m interested in renting a pitch at Summer Soulstice, how do I go about it?
A: We always welcome vendors & stall holders to our event, but there is a limit as to how many we can fit into the main event area. If you wish to apply for a future pitch, please go to our Stalls & Vendors page for current pitch prices & further info.
