Summer Soulstice

45,000 Big Ones!
Summer Soulstice 2019 has been hailed as one of the best yet and the total this year breaks our fundraising record!
Another field full of soul people shared the love in the warm sunshine and helped to give us a fantastic amount this year which is the biggest raised since we started in 2007.
Saturday 22nd June saw over 4,000 people enjoy a full day’s entertainment at Old Elizabethans Memorial Playing Fields which included main stage performances from the mighty ASWAD, Alison Limerick, Andy Abraham, Louise Golbey and Sa-Ha-Ra. The ever popular Club Tent also saw the return of Soulstice fave Natasha Watts, who later treated us to a couple of classics in the finalé also.

Amongst the soul-loving crowd taking in the friendly vibes on the day were the likes of US soul/r&b artist Carmichael Musiclover and UK TV reality stars Chloe Meadows and Alexandra Cane. The day itself relies on many volunteers and this includes our annual heavyweight DJ line-up, who all give their time for free year in, year out. This year alongside regulars such as Ash Selector, Nicky Holloway, Richard Earnshaw, Young Pulse and Ginger Tony, we saw full Soulstice debuts from Birdy, Marie Garracio, Winni Buddz as well as local Barnet DJ and event regular, Matt C.
To date, Summer Soulstice events have now donated more than £375,000 to our chosen charity benefactor and this is purely down to the continued support of thousands of people over the years. 2019 has once again allowed us to help our friends at Cherry Lodge Cancer Care continue caring for people with cancer, and their families by giving them another big sum of money… We will be handing these good people a large cheque at our annual Big Payback event on Sunday 25th August at The Black Horse in Barnet.
Summer Soulstice 2020 is scheduled to take place on Saturday 20th June next year, with earlybird tickets going on sale in September 2019.
